Position Overview:
Dangote Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic HR team. The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and selecting top talent to support our company’s strategic objectives and drive sustainable growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in recruiting top talent across diverse functions and levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire top talent across various business functions and levels within Dangote Group.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment plans to meet those needs.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods, including online channels, social media, networking, and industry events, to identify and engage passive and active candidates.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate screening, interviewing, assessment, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to support current and future hiring needs, proactively identifying and engaging with high-potential candidates.
- Partner with HR colleagues to ensure a seamless candidate experience and support diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the recruitment process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition and recommend innovative approaches to enhance recruitment effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or HR certification preferred.
- Minimum of 18 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring top talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in utilizing various recruitment tools and techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations in Nigeria and other relevant markets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruitment targets and driving process improvements.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
