Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Executive to join our team at Konga. The Audit Executive will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our internal controls, financial processes, and compliance procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement in internal controls and processes, and develop recommendations for corrective action.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Review financial statements and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in regulations and industry best practices related to auditing and compliance.
• Prepare balance sheets and audit statements.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc/ HND in Accounting, Finance, and other related course
• Analytical mindset and attention to details.
•  ⁠2-3 years of experience 
•  ⁠Excellent usage of MS Office tools
•  ⁠Ability to prepare concise and accurate audit reports.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and auditing software.
