Job Summary

The Operations Analyst – Graduate Trainee will support operational improvement initiatives across the organisation. The role involves analysing processes, reviewing operational performance, conducting research, and assisting with the implementation of efficiency-driven solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with different teams to improve productivity, reduce wastage, and support business growth.

Job Responsibilities

General Operations

  • Review and analyse customer complaints and compliance audit reports.
  • Recommend process improvements and operational updates.
  • Assist in updating operational procedures, policies, and training materials.
  • Work with relevant teams to improve existing operational processes.

Technology, Tools and Equipment

  • Conduct research using the 5Ms framework (Man, Machine, Material, Method, and Money).
  • Analyse operational data to determine suitable kitchen equipment and tools.
  • Support standardisation initiatives across production units.

Training and Development

  • Support the training of operations staff across branches.
  • Assist in developing training materials and leadership guides.
  • Monitor staff training progress and operational readiness.
  • Analyse manpower requirements for branch operations.

Projects and Process Improvement

  • Support the implementation of cost control measures.
  • Review kitchen layout plans and follow up on project execution.
  • Assist with the centralisation of labour-intensive production processes.
  • Support new outlet setup, including staffing and equipment planning.
  • Develop policies to reduce resource wastage and improve production planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper division in:
    • Business Administration
    • Management
    • Engineering or Technology
    • Food Science
    • Biology
    • Biochemistry
    • Or related disciplines.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Strong business awareness and integrity.
  • Applicants must not be older than 26 years.
