Molecular Biologist @ Demyhealth Clinic & Genomic Medicine

Overview: 

Demyhealth Clinic and Genomic Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Molecular Biologist to join our innovative team. Responsibilities:

• Conduct molecular biology experiments, including DNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, and sequencing, to support research and clinical initiatives.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, utilizing bioinformatics tools and software to draw meaningful conclusions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and execute experiments aimed at understanding disease mechanisms and identifying therapeutic targets.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and analyses in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of molecular assays and protocols to enhance research efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and scientific literature, actively participating in scientific discussions and journal clubs.

Qualifications:

• PhD or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or related field.
• Proven experience in molecular biology techniques, including DNA/RNA isolation, PCR, cloning, and sequencing.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics analysis tools and software packages (e.g., BLAST, UCSC Genome Browser, R/Bioconductor).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot experiments and interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Prior experience in a research or clinical laboratory setting is preferred.
