Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of our internal controls, risk management processes, and governance practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement audit plans, programs, and procedures to address identified risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate internal processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency.
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions for management review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to auditing and risk management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CIA certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in internal auditing, risk management, or compliance, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly and effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity in work.
• Proficiency in audit tools and software is a plus.
