Tybixt Services International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance and support to our clients, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of their IT systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to clients via phone, email, or in-person, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems, diagnosing and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT systems and equipment, including computers, servers, printers, and networking devices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement and support IT solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Document support activities, solutions, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.
  • Keep abreast of latest technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance clients’ IT infrastructure and operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support as needed to address critical issues and emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong technical background in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), Microsoft Office suite, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, and devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a customer-centric approach to service delivery.
  • IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is desirable.
