Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of fixed asset accounting, including but not limited to, recording acquisitions and disposals, calculating depreciation, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.
• Reconcile fixed asset accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform regular reviews and audits of fixed asset records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper capitalization and treatment of fixed assets.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to fixed asset activity, depreciation, and capital expenditures.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations related to fixed assets.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification or equivalent preferred.
