Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer at Nanowattz, you will be responsible for building and maintaining web and mobile application interfaces that are clean, responsive, and user-friendly.

As a key Frontend Developer, You will be responsible for the end-to-end development of user-facing features for our core web and cross-platform mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders to deliver clean, scalable, and responsive digital experiences that directly impact energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable applications for both responsive web and cross-platform mobile (iOS & Android).
Expertly translate designs (Figma, etc.) into pixel-perfect, accessible, and production-ready UI components across both web and mobile.
Integrate frontend services with REST APIs and handle real-time data streams to ensure a seamless, up-to-the-second user experience.
Build and optimize dashboards, charts, and reports for energy usage data.
Strong understanding of UI/UX principles for both web and mobile platforms.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Identify and fix bugs, and continuously improve app performance and user experience.
Participate in code reviews, weekly planning and presentation meetings.
Integrate APIs, third‑party libraries, and backend services for both web and mobile.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features across both platforms.

Required Skills

We are looking for a Front-end developer who is ready to take ownership of both our web and mobile presence.

2–4 years of demonstrated experience in professional frontend or web development.
Deep proficiency in HTML, CSS (including modern techniques), and advanced JavaScript.
Extensive experience with a modern web framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Strong experience working with REST APIs, modern state management techniques, and version control (Git).
Demonstrated ability to build interfaces directly from design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) while applying strong UI/UX principles.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Excellent organizational skills as well as an ability to manage, prioritize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously and to a deadline.
Resilient and able to function under pressure and deliver high standards under tight deadlines.
