Key Responsibilities
Sales Duties:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, HMOs, corporate bodies, and individuals.
- Promote laboratory services, including routine tests and specialised diagnostics.
- Achieve assigned sales targets within set timelines.
- Visit healthcare professionals regularly to establish referral networks.
- Deliver presentations on available laboratory services.
Marketing Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service awareness.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns such as health outreaches and screenings.
- Manage digital platforms, including social media and email campaigns.
- Support branding efforts and ensure consistency in all materials.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients for repeat business.
- Respond to client enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Work with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
Reporting and Administration:
- Prepare periodic sales and performance reports.
- Maintain an updated client and prospect database.
- Monitor competitor activities and market conditions.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in sales or marketing, preferably within healthcare or diagnostics.
- Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory services is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
