Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Architect to join our team in Lagos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the architectural aspects of our construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, building codes, and client requirements. The Project Architect will collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, and sustainable architectural solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage architectural design concepts, plans, and drawings for construction projects.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure architectural designs align with project goals, budget, and schedule.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and materials.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and contractors.
• Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, and other professionals to integrate architectural and engineering elements seamlessly.
• Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and regulations to ensure designs are compliant and innovative.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 – 10 years of experience in architectural design and project management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to design challenges and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
