Job Summary

• CEVA EFL Limited is seeking experienced, results-driven and highly motivated Operations Manager to join our team.
• The Operations Manager will oversee the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of terminal operations, including gate, yard, quayside/barge and export stuffing activities, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily terminal operations, including gate, yard, barge and export activities.
• Manage workforce planning, equipment deployment and operational resources.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, operational procedures and safety standards
• Monitor yard capacity, container stock accuracy and truck turnaround time.
• Ensure accurate Terminal Operating System (TOS) records, EDI transmissions and operational reporting.
• Manage relationships with shipping lines, customers and other operational stakeholders.
• Monitor operational KPIs, control costs and drive continuous process improvements.
• Ensure equipment availability and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
• Lead operational teams and deputize for the General Manager when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in container terminals, ports, inland container depots (ICDs) or logistics operations.
• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or management position.
• Strong knowledge of terminal operations, TOS, EDI, container inventory management and HSE requirements.
• Proven leadership, operational planning, cost management and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
