Job Title: Verification Officer

Description
- Leap MFI is seeking a diligent, detail oriented, and results driven Verification Officer to join out team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough verification of loan applicants and their guarantors.
- Carry out physical visit to applicants’ residence and places of business.
- Validate submitted documents and information.
- Confirm KYC information, including BVN, NIN and ID cards.
- Prepare accurate verification reports and submit findings promptly.
- Identify discrepancies and potential risks during verification.
- Keep verification records secure and confidential.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degres or HND in relevant discipline
- Previous experience in verification, or field operation (Microfinance or Banking preferred)
- Good Knowledge of the local area and its markets
- Strong communication, analytical, and investigation skills.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel.
