The Role
- We are not looking for a typical “post-and-reply” social media manager. We are looking for a Brand Builder. You will be the voice of our company across Twitter (X), Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Your primary goal is to increase our brand awareness, drive engagement, and ultimately, convert followers into loyal customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Own and manage all social media channels (X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok/LinkedIn where applicable) with a cohesive brand voice.
- Content Strategy: Create high-impact, engaging content that explains our services, highlights customer testimonials, and showcases the speed of our transfers.
- Community Engagement: Respond to DMs, comments, and mentions promptly. Turn customers into advocates.
- Influencer Outreach: Identify, pitch, and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, and finance bloggers globally (with a focus on the African diaspora and Canadian expats).
- Trend Spotting: Stay ahead of viral trends and adapt them to fit our financial brand without losing professionalism.
- Analytics: Track performance metrics and adjust strategies to ensure our page reach and engagement grows month-over-month.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven Experience: You have managed a brand page before (show us your portfolio or handles you’ve grown).
- Copywriting Skills: You know how to write a thread on X that goes viral and a caption on Instagram that drives clicks.
- Design Eye: You don’t need to be a graphic designer, but you know what “good design” looks like and can direct creators or use tools like Canva proficiently.
- Networker: You have a knack for sliding into DMs (professionally) to secure collaborations.
- Self-Starter: Since this is remote, you must be disciplined, organized, and able to work closely with our Canadian HQ during overlapping hours.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: N150,000 monthly (paid in Naira or crypto, depending on preference).
