Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
• Monitor and review financial data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and drive process improvements.
• Mentor and coach junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Requirements:

• 7-8 years of experience working as a chartered accountant.
• Ability to use Fintech ERP
• Must be ICAN certified.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving results and managing teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
