Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchasing Manager to join our team. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement, supplier management, and inventory control to ensure the efficient and cost-effective supply of materials and products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans to optimize procurement processes and achieve cost savings.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and identify new potential suppliers to expand the vendor base.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, finance, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track performance metrics, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement and supply chain management.
  • Lead and mentor the purchasing team to foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the furniture or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
