Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer at Phase3 Telecoms Limited, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our network operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance.
• Implement security measures to protect our network from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support network requirements for new projects and initiatives.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members and other departments as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP,CompTIA Network+, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE).
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and security best practices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, VLANs, MPLS, routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP), and network security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with networking equipment from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Palo Alto Networks.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
• Proven track record of working effectively in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
