Job Summary
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth by building and managing partnerships across the B2B and B2G sectors.
- The ideal candidate will identify and secure high-volume clients for the purchase of vegetables and agricultural produce, while leading market penetration and territory expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business growth strategies across B2B and B2G channels
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with corporate organizations, government institutions, hospitality businesses, distributors, and large-scale buyers
- Drive bulk sales of vegetables and agro produce to key clients
- Lead territory expansion efforts and identify new market opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value commercial deals
- Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to support business growth
- Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction
- Represent the company at business meetings, trade fairs, and industry events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field
- 4–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the agro or FMCG sector
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2G business dynamics
- Proven track record of securing large-scale clients and driving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong market expansion and territory development experience
- Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Candidates must reside on the Lagos Mainland.
