  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving strategic growth by building and managing partnerships across the B2B and B2G sectors.
  • The ideal candidate will identify and secure high-volume clients for the purchase of vegetables and agricultural produce, while leading market penetration and territory expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business growth strategies across B2B and B2G channels
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships with corporate organizations, government institutions, hospitality businesses, distributors, and large-scale buyers
  • Drive bulk sales of vegetables and agro produce to key clients
  • Lead territory expansion efforts and identify new market opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and decision-makers
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value commercial deals
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to support business growth
  • Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction
  • Represent the company at business meetings, trade fairs, and industry events

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the agro or FMCG sector
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2G business dynamics
  • Proven track record of securing large-scale clients and driving revenue growth
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong market expansion and territory development experience
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must reside on the Lagos Mainland.
