About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy specialist to manage the end-to-end job application process on our behalf. This role focuses on identifying strong-fit job openings, tailoring resumes and cover letters for each application using AI tools, and ensuring every submission is optimized to pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and get in front of human recruiters. The goal is to land interviews, not just mass apply for jobs

Key Responsibilities

• Source and screen relevant job postings daily across job boards, company career pages, and LinkedIn based on target criteria (role, industry, salary range, location)
• Customize resumes for each individual job posting — matching keywords, skills, and phrasing to the specific job description
• Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Jobscan, Teal, or similar) to optimize resumes for ATS compatibility (formatting, keyword density, parsing accuracy)
• Track all applications, statuses, and follow-ups in a shared spreadsheet or applicant tracking tool
• Research target companies to personalize application materials and identify referral opportunities
• Draft outreach messages to recruiters/hiring managers on LinkedIn when appropriate
• Be proactive, do research and come up with ideas and ways to land interviews.
• Flag promising leads and provide weekly summary reports on application activity and response rates
• Maintain confidentiality of personal and professional information at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with AI writing/optimization tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Jobscan, Teal, Rezi, or similar)
• Strong internet connection
• Ability to be proactive, and innovative.
• Strong understanding of how ATS systems parse and rank resumes (keyword matching, formatting rules, common pitfalls)
• Excellent written English — resumes and cover letters must read naturally, not robotic or keyword-stuffed
• Experience with resume tailoring and job search strategy (recruiting, career coaching, or HR background a plus)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail — no copy-paste errors or wrong-company mistakes
• Comfortable using Google Workspace/Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and basic tracking tools
• Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Trustworthy and discreet — will be handling sensitive personal/career information

Nice to Have

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and different job boards
• Background in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
• Familiarity with the tech industry relevant to the job seeker’s target roles
• Experience with resume design tools (Google Docs, Adobe, etc.)

What Success Looks Like

• High volume of high-quality, tailored applications submitted per week
• Job seeker is getting multiple interviews
• Ability to come up with ideas that will improve the chance of landing interviews
• Measurable increase in ATS pass-through and recruiter response rates
• Clear, consistent reporting and communication on progress

Compensation

• Base Salary: ₦170,000/month
• Bonus: ₦1,000,000 upon successful job placement and signed offer accepted
