Job Description:

Smart Teller is seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and developing customized solutions to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including financial institutions, businesses, and industry partners.
  3. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive growth and profitability.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of business strategies.
  6. Prepare and present proposals, business cases, and presentations to clients and senior management.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field. MBA preferred.
  2. Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the financial technology (fintech) industry.
  3. Strong understanding of banking and financial services, including digital banking solutions, payments, and regulatory frameworks.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
