What You’ll Do
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights
- Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to improve financial efficiency
- Assist with audits and maintain accurate financial documentation
- Monitor cash flow and optimize financial performance across shipping operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification a bonus
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Xero
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
